Nonprofit organisations must demonstrate that they can be trusted. One of the key mechanisms for developing this trust is accountability. This research program focusses on various aspects of accountability: to whom are we accountable, for what, how, when and why. These dimensions are explored across non-profits, social enterprises, cooperatives, and philanthropic organisations.
