
Divya Dwarakanath is a final year PhD student and has been a part of the QUT Allergy Research Group since August 2017. Prior to joining the group, she completed a Master of Public Health (Health, Safety and Environment) from QUT. She is passionate about making a difference in community through demonstrating the significance across a wide range of global environmental health issues. She was awarded the QUT Centre for Children’s Health Research Scholarship for her research project. Her research explores the impact of grass pollen allergies on environmental public health specific to a subtropical region. Her key research interests are in health promotion and disseminating knowledge on environmental health. She has been appointed as the International Health Student Ambassador for QUT Faculty of Health since 2018. She also holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from SRM University, India.
