Jakob Boyd Pernov is Branka Miljevic’s new postdoctoral research fellow; he will be working on the ARC Discovery Project “Southern Ocean aerosols: sources, sinks and impact on cloud properties”. He completed his PhD on the processes of aerosol and mercury in the High Arctic at Aarhus University in Denmark and just finished his first postdoc at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland where he was working on data-driven modeling and machine learning to investigate the environmental drivers of natural Arctic aerosols.
