End of Life Law for Clinicians (ELLC)

Significant legal knowledge gaps exist for health professionals involved in end of life decision-making. The ELLC project aims to improve clinicians’ and medical students’ legal knowledge and practice by developing and providing a training program focusing on the law relating to end of life decision-making and palliative care. In 2019, the ELLC team delivered a national program of workshops, and the training continues to be available online via self-paced modules at the ELLC Training Portal.
