His research is theoretically based on the Austrian school of economics, in which creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship are the fundamental pieces for economic transformations. Based on this principle, he intends to investigate the relationships between the disruptive innovations developed by new banking organizations and the digital changes that traditional banks in emerging countries are trying to apply in their business models for real estate credit and what the perspectives are for the following years. Among his research objectives is the development of strategies to improve banking services, providing a better experience for real estate credit customers. Thiago’s supervisor is A/Prof Rui Torres de Oliveira.
