Patcharapar joined the Australian Centre of Entrepreneurship (ACE) Research team at QUT Business School with various academic and corporate backgrounds in business, finance, and engineering.

She completed her Bachelor degree in Software Engineering with Upper Second Class Honor from the University of Queensland, Australia, in which then she continued to work within the field for two years in Thailand as a banking technical consultant to develop back-end deposit system for major banks in Thailand. She, then, continued to pursue her first Master’s degree in Investment and Finance at Queen Mary University of London and the second Master’s degree in International business at QUT afterwards, where both degrees were completed with Distinction.

Her interest is focused particularly on the Sharing Economy, in developing a sustainable business model for a production of a sustainable community, stressing an equalization and an improvement in regards to economic and social aspects in a community.

Accordingly, her current PhD project focuses on the development of entrepreneurship through Sharing Economy, emphasizing the research on the impact of institutional external environmental factors diversity towards Sharing Economy business performance. The prospective uncovered theory and outcomes will help engender Sharing Economy business industry to expand and grow more rapidly, and will be served as a risk minimization portal to both early-staged and matured businesses in the particular field, especially in developing countries.
