Muhammad Asif Tanveer is a PhD student at QUT Business School and the recipient of Australian Government’ Research Training Program (RTP). He is designing a Grit scale at firm level, previous studies confirmed grit play a crucial role in new venture success. This quantitative study is investigating that strategic orientation and bricolage could enhance new venture grit, which eventually leads towards innovation ambidexterity and multiple success factors of new ventures. He is supervised by Dr. Rui Torres de Oliveira and Associate Professor Artemis Chang.
Prior to joining QUT, Asif’s academic career a range of roles over a 10 year in the public university of Pakistan, The Islamia University Bahawalpur. He published over 15 research papers peer reviewed journals, around 200 certificates of online courses from EdX, Coursera, and others. He taught courses like Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Management, Business Research Methods, and International Business. He also supervised over 50 projects of undergraduate students. In addition, his numerous students won business plan competitions at national level. Over the years, he helped many students to participate in X-Culture (Over 100 University from around 40 countries) to develop a virtual business plan for an international company.
