MIT Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp @QUT

You will be pushed to your limit. You will learn. You will have fun.

QUT has been selected to host the MIT Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at Gardens Point campus in Brisbane in March, 2017.

The highly-selective camp condenses a one year MIT course into a week-long, action-based learning experience for budding entrepreneurs picked from across the world.

Applicants must apply to MIT by the latest January 31, 2017 and selection is based on five criteria – rigor, initiative, contribution to community, team and cultural fit and entrepreneurship potential.

QUT Vice-Chancellor Peter Coaldrake said the university was proud to have been selected to host the bootcamp.

The partnership between, QUT, MIT and the Queensland Government means QUT will offer three scholarships to attend the bootcamp, including one specifically for an Indigenous Australian.

“We have been building an entrepreneurial focus across the university for some time now and staging the bootcamp at our Gardens Point campus will allow us to take this to the next level,” Professor Coaldrake said
