Shanglin Wu

    Research Students

Shanglin Wu is majoring in computer science and is a first-year PhD student at the Queensland University of Technology’s School of Mechanical, Medical and Process Engineering. His research is focused on blood flow modeling using machine learning and physics-informed neural networks. His academic interests lie at the intersection of mechanical engineering, medical science, and computer science. He is dedicated to building a deep learning model for seamlessly integrating non-invasive measurement methods like 4D flow MRI with computational fluid dynamics models to provide a practical and affordable method for assessing velocity and pressure pulse wave propagation in human systemic arteries, with a view to improving the understanding of cardiovascular diseases and ultimately developing new treatments. As a highly motivated and ambitious researcher, Mr. Wu is committed to making contributions to the field of biomedical engineering.
