Samaneh Hashemi is a full-time Higher Degree Research student at the School of Mechanical, Medical, and Process Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia. Samaneh received a physics degree in 2011 and was the top-ranked graduate of the University of Guilan in Rasht, Iran. She was a member of various research groups working on medical imaging techniques and radiation treatment while earning her master’s degree in medical radiation engineering at Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti University. As a result of her efforts, Samaneh has had papers published in reputable journals. Samaneh commenced her PhD studies as a full-time QUT student in May 2023. Her research will use optical coherence tomography angiography (OCT-A) images to quantify blood-related parameters. QUT’s Engineering and Health departments (the School of Optometry and Vision Science) are both involved in this multidisciplinary work.Projects
