2018 ACCTERM Conference, Nov. 22-24, Cairns, Queensland, Australia

The Australia-China Conference for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (ACCTERM) 2018, developed from previous ACCTERM annual Forum since 2013, is the first open-registration conference and has attracted more than 90 delegate from Australia and China. The conference was held in Cairns from 22nd to 24th Nov. Delegate shared their research progress on stem cells, tissue engineering, biomaterials and regenerative medicine.

Researchers come from Queensland University of Technology, the University of Queensland, The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, University of South Australia, University of Western Australia, Monash University, Deakin University, Wuhan University, Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sun Yat-Sen University, East China University of Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Guangzhou Medical University gave wonderful presentations on the advanced research and there were heated discussions for potential collaboration. 

PhD students and ECRs from both nations have actively got involved and ACCTERM announced the best presentation awards in the conference dinner.
