Venue and travel

This year, the ACCTERM Research Forum will be held at two different venues. Day one will be held at the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation (IHBI) which is located at QUT’s Kelvin Grove campus. The Kelvin Grove campus is located in Brisbane’s inner north, about 3km from the city centre. Day two and three will be held in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Surfers Paradise.

Getting there

Delegates will be collected from their accommodation on the morning of Thursday 5th November and transported to IHBI, QUT, 60 Musk Avenue, Kelvin Grove. Once the meeting at IHBI is complete delegates will then travel by coach to Surfers Paradise. Delegates are expected to arrange transportation to and from the airport themselves.

Accommodation

ACCTERM has arranged one night’s accommodation for all Chinese delegates at the Oaks Hotel, located at 212 Margaret Street on Wednesday 4th November. The hotel is only a short walk from the city centre.

The second and third days of the Forum will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. It is the responsibility of delegates to arrange their own accommodation while in Surfers Paradise.
