Research hub
Our centre is based at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, and draws researchers from across the university, Australia and China.
About our centre
Our centre is a hub for international research collaboration in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
The Australian-China Centre for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine is an international network that aims to:
- generate interdisciplinary awareness, and promote and expand scientific cooperation and communication between China and Australia
- foster university, clinical, industry and government collaborations
- accelerate the translation process of basic science in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
The centre was launched in June 2013 after the inaugural Australia-China Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Research Forum. The Forum – hosted annually in either Australia or China – is held to share research findings and potential clinical translation between our partner institutes.
