International Tax in the Spotlight

Professor Kerrie Sadiq provided the discussant role at The University of Melbourne research seminar International Tax Frameworks: Assessing the 2020s Compromise from the Perspective of Taxing the Digital Economy held August 27 2020 by zoom. COVID-19, increased govt spending, tax shortfalls, and the growth in the digital economy provide a sense of urgency in international tax reform. The seminar was presented by Professor Craig Elliffe, University of Auckland, based on his forthcoming book, Taxing the Digital Economy: Theory, Policy and Practice, Cambridge University Press.
